AVAILABLE HORSES
Our horses are on a regular schedule with the farrier, dental specialist and chiropractor. Horses are vaccinated yearly. They are wormed according to the health of the herd. As a fully operational horse herd, they have a good life– living as horses are meant to live. We want our horses to go onto homes where they will get more attention from an adoring few riders.
We sell to approved homes only. We only sell to homes that can give our horses an even better life than we can. You must have a veterinarian and fenced property with at least one other equine on property at all times, Your first time buying a horse? we would like to talk to you about that.
If you’re a beginner, don’t worry, riding lessons are available and horses are personally assigned based on your riding experience and preferences. If you have bought one of our horses and you EVER need us, please call. We care about our horses and their homes. It’s 5am four years after you’ve bought a horse from us and you can’t tell if your horse is colicing? Call us. Period. We love our horses even after they’re gone.

Scout is a 5-year-old Percheron/ Quarter Horse cross gelding standing 16h tall and weighing roughly 1400 pounds. He has a nice walk, trot, canter, backs, yields his hindquarters, stops off your seat, side passes, and spins. We have used Scout for various events on the farm, such as trail rides, lessons, driving, and our obstacle course; he does it all. Scout has many miles out on the trail and in the arena. He will lope a nice circle in the arena and then ride alone or with a group and cross water, logs, and ditches with no problem. Scout is not only great at riding, but he also drives! He is traffic-safe and comfortable around different types of machinery. Scout’s ability to adapt to various situations and his calm demeanor makes him a trusted partner no matter what you want to do. His steady nature and willingness to learn new skills make him a reliable partner for any endeavor. Scout’s versatility and easy-going personality make him a favorite in the barn. We have used Scout as a pony horse for young children on trail rides; even when they feel anxious, he remains composed. Scout is also easy to load onto trailers and has been to various parks. He behaves like a seasoned horse when stepping off the trailer. Scout is a reliable and well-rounded horse that can be enjoyed by everyone. He stands for the farrier, vet and clipping. Amigo is an eye catching sorrel tobiano, Missouri Foxtrotting/Tennessee Walking Gelding that is standing 15.3hh and 4 yrs old. Amigo has been on camping trips, picket line tied and hauled to several states. He will flatfoot walk on a loose rein or he can move on out if you ask. He has a smooth and natural 4-beat gait that anyone will enjoy riding on! Amigo has been shown at local fun shows in pleasure classes and seen it all from the bright lights to hearing those blairing loud speakers. Amigo has seen it all and handles everything in stride! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked to. He has been rode many miles in the mountains and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He is a stunning buckskin gelding with a long mane and tail. We get compliments on him everywhere we go. He is sound, no weave/crib or loading issues. Jack has been trail ridden all throughout our farms in NY checking fences, gathering pairs, moving young bulls to different pastures and various other jobs. He also rides well in an arena setting. He has that “rocking chair” canter that everyone wants and a smooth trot. We feel that he would be a great step up for a kid or perfect for an adult that is looking for that shorter, reliable trail mount. Jack is healthy and an easy keeper. He is registered with the American quarter horse association, he is 11 years old and stands 15.1 hands! 100% sound and you will not find a horse with better ground manners, he will ground tie for hours and not think about moving! He enjoys baths will stand with no halter on while you wash him! Now on to his riding skills, he will do western pleasure and the ranch with no problem at all! If you want to throw a English saddle on him and go jump a course or go cross country and do a little fox hunting he is your guy! If trail riding is your thing he will meet all of your needs, he will go through any body of water with no resistance, or ride through town the traffic will not bother him at all! If ranch work is what you are wanting to do he loves chasing or pulling a cow around, if you need to check fences his trot and lope are a very smooth ride the miles will be a joy!
